On 31st of January 2018, from 10:00 to 15:00, in the hotel “Tbilisi Marriott” (13 Rustaveli Avenue,
Tbilisi), OXFAM and Biological
Farming Association ELKANA are
inviting you to the workshop “Challenges
of Effective Management and Value Addition in Agricultural Cooperatives in
Georgia”. The workshop will cover issues related to the improvement of the
legal and regulatory frameworks for effective management of agricultural cooperatives,
as well as issues related to improved access of the agricultural cooperatives
to markets though introduction of food safety and quality systems, production
innovations and branding.
The workshop is
organized within the framework of the “Lessons
Learnt Workshop Series” under the European Neighborhood Program for
Agriculture and Rural Development (ENPARD),
and the EU funded project “Supporting
Agricultural Co-operation in Georgia”.
