On April 26, 2012, the Biological Farming Association Elkana and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) presented to general public the “Samtskhe-Javakheti Travel Guide”, together with a tourist map. Presentation was held at M. Berdzenishvili International Culture Center “Muza”. The event attendees were acquainted with the touristic opportunities of Samtskhe-Javakheti Region, one of the oldest parts of Georgia and with the needed information for travelling and finding facilities and points of interest.
Among the invited guests were the representatives from Georgian National Tourism Administration, National Agency for Cultural Heritage Preservation of Georgia, Agency of Protected Areas of Georgia, different governmental bodies, international organizations, embassies, touristic agencies and media.
